• Sourcing and writing up breaking news stories for various Copybook business news platforms, primarily environmental issues and events for Enviro News and medical stories for Hospital International.• Keeping on top of current events, particularly environmental and hospital news.• Adhering to deadlines and word counts, and being able to confidently write about any subject matter necessary for the company's various business news platforms.

• Designing and creating an image to advertise the Summer Showcase as posters, postcards and e-vites, focussing on visual branding of the event.• PR and marketing, promotion and advertising of the event using social media and contacting potential guests.• Ensuring that every student on the English with Creative Writing/Media Studies courses is represented by assisting in collecting work and creating displays.

• Writing reviews as part of the Reviewers Scheme to be published on the company's website.• Adapting writing style depending on performance and possible audience.

• Keeping an eye on different areas of the café, taking on multiple roles as needed and training new members of staff in these respective jobs.• Dealing with customer issues and building a rapport, resulting in being commended by customers for being approachable and efficient.
