Key dutieso Lead complex initiatives across a number of digital functions and teams. o Facilitate planning and co-ordination using agile techniques and support ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, iteration reviews, and retrospectives to ensure alignment at all times with project objectives, working to ensure scope is clearly defined and adhered to throughout.o Transform and translate agile principles into PMBOK structure to demonstrate compliance with the company PMO whilst still adhering to the VHA IT agile delivery frameworko Be an advocate and guardian of Agile values and principles across the organization and in the community.o Business demand lead for digital, functioning as the interface and entry point for business requests, working across the department to assess delivery capability and resource allocation and presenting back to senior stakeholders delivery and prioritisation options. o Work closely with Product owner, Platform owner and Iteration Manager to define and negotiate scope to ensure business benefits are achieved within project budgets.o Proactively work to remove blockers to enable the team to succeed. o Use structured project and portfolio risk management, defining and driving mitigation strategies to reduce likelihood and impact. o Management of production releases of software in accordance with VHA Change Management principles and policies.

Key Dutieso Responsible for managing a diverse range of projects and deliveries from building relocations, product launches, customer service solutions, key business enhancements and handset launches. o Accountable for end to end management of Business Impacting Projects, managing multiple streams across many business areas. o Chair regular governance meetings with key stakeholders and sponsors to present updates on progress, key issues, seek direction and aid in key decision making process. o Facilitation of Impact Assessment workshops to explore and agree on an appropriate solution. Ensure a joined up view between the business and technology teams and gain commitment to the project delivery within the timescales.o Schedule tracking weekly through MS project to manage variance and impact to overall delivery timescales.o Working with Business Analysts, Sponsors and Product Managers to define and manage scope and requirements. o Enforce strict risk management principles to all projects and programmes to implementing mitigation strategy’s where appropriate to ensure a safe delivery of projects through the lifecycle.o Ensure issues are effectively managed and resolved with the desired outcomes achieved.o Build and manage a strong and dedicated project team to ensure the business outcomes are delivered to a high quality in time and within cost.
