I was elected to the role of Finance Director in April 2007. I was appointed to the role of Chair of the Education & Training Task Group in August 2006. I was elected by our members as a Board Member in September 2005. My involvement with the AGR began when I joined the Membership Task Group in August 2004. Activities include PR/media relations, strategic planning, financial and operations management, lobbying, research, membership development, education, training, conferences and Masterclasses.

Design and deliver the leadership behaviours, values and performance management frameworks to drive world-class performance and culture. Design and manage the leadership, talent and development platforms to develop the leadership pipeline. Design and deliver the talent strategy for the UK and Ireland business. Activities included core management training, flagship leadership development programme, induction, coaching, employee survey, executive team development, performance management cycle, talent management, recruitment partner PSL, employer brand, talent upgrade, work experience, 360 feedback process, student/graduate recruitment and development.

Manage the Group’s strategy across all entry-level talent programmes. To own the Group-wide graduate programme and provide support to all business specific programmes to ensure they are developed and managed in line with the Group’s strategy and guidelines. Activities included employer brand, attraction strategy including brand, on-line, campus and PR, reward and compensation strategy, recruitment and selection, on-boarding, induction, development, coaching, mentoring, programme/placement assignments, school leavers programme and work experience

Project manage the design, planning and implementation of initiatives required to pursue the organisational HR strategy. Activities included employee handbook and union negotiations, Oracle HRMS implementation, induction and graduate programmes review.

Activities included graduate training, design, delivery and development of core employee and management training.

Manage the recruitment and training administration team and provide a more senior/specialised service where required. Activities included large volume recruitment and training, a recruitment PSL, senior/specialised recruitment and TNA.

To provide generalist HR support and administration. Activities included general payroll, new starters, leavers, contractual changes etc.

Support the HR Officers and the HR Manager in all aspects of HR and Recruitment. I continued in this role on a part-time basis after returning to finish my degree in September 2001. Activities included large volume recruitment, student/graduate recruitment, payroll, new starters, leavers, absence, maternity, contractual changes, grievance, disciplinary and generalist support.
