As part of the school leadership team, developed and enacted the school's vision and goals in the first two years of a school turnaround. Led students to 4th highest growth across national KIPP network on Language MAP test, 74% meeting tiered fall-to-spring growth and 64% meeting highest tiered spring-to-spring growth goal (2014-15). Outperformed the district and state on the PARCC ELA Assessment: 48% students at mastery.Worked as part of the KIPP Colorado Composition Leadership Team to pilot the Process Based Assessment writing system across KIPP Colorado 2014-16. Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University

Selected as part of the US Fulbright Program, administered by the US Department of State, to teach English and serve as a cultural ambassador in Turkey. Taught beginning and intermediate English at the university level to students in Canakkale, Turkey as an independent classroom teacher.

Led weekly mentorship program between Yale female undergraduate students and local 8th grade girls.

Led group of eight incoming freshmen on a six-day backpacking trip to foster teamwork, build confidence, and ease the transition into college and Yale (2008- 2011).
