Over the past year I have grown in confidence and strength and now find that I have gained strong knowledge and experience within this competitive business environment. I have created good business opportunities, engaging with staff across various outlets and participated in corporate events. Relationship building is one of my core strengths and is strongly required within my role. I engage retail staff, call centre staff and business managers in order to build confidence and knowledge in the Sony brand. I create new and exciting business opportunities and demo how to sell our products into different networks and retail environments effectively. I currently run the East/West Midlands area and I am solely responsible for the training of all products and performance monitoring of about 60+ retail stores Alongside this, I recruit Sony Ambassadors within high performing stores to drive Sony market share even further. My job requires an extremely high level of organisation which can involve: collating data, remotely managing staff/Ambassadors, reporting competitor feedback, POS compliance, product training, corporate events and data analysis. I am always assessing data to make sure I am strongly representing my brand and getting my area the recognition it deserves. Because of this, I am continually recognised by Client Services Managers, Regional Managers and the Account Teams for consistently displaying a high level of responsibility, professionalism and business acumen. Although I did not get to the finals it was an amazing experience and an honour to be asked. Throughout my time at Carphone Warehouse it has enabled me to become well educated in all aspects of technology and has allowed me to speak confidently about mobile devices, online storage solutions and troubleshoot common software issues. Although I did not know a lot about Sony at the time, I was impressed at the quality, functionality and range of devices and felt that I could present these with passion. Since being part of the programme, I have grown from strength to strength and I am now known as one of the best ambassadors within the Sony community. Under my guidance, sales of Sony products in my Carphone Warehouse store grew from five devices per month to and average of sixty per month. My understanding is that my training of my replacement within this store has helped sustain this growth. Although numbers are important in sales I also think behaviours are equally important because without the right attitude and training, successful sales can be limited. This blend of sales acumen and professional attitude is something I have been recognised for throughout my time with Sony. I take a lot of pride in my training methods and how I interact with my staff on a fun and creative level and by keeping my staff motivated they constantly perform to a high level. Lastly my passion towards everything in the Sony community is unlike anyone else, I love interacting, helping and motivating others and I always say one of my favourite parts of my job is talking about Sony.
