Senior Vp - Corporate Communications
Jacksonville, Florida Area
Supported corporate clients, leveraging global channels, including Intranet, email, and social media channels, to communicate and reinforce Citi’s mission and value proposition to a global audience of 240,000 employees. As a key player on this global bank’s top-notch internal communications team, I was instrumental in Citi’s efforts to rethink channel strategy, engage diverse populations of employees, and consistently deliver high-quality, compelling content. I also managed communications during several crises, including Hurricane Sandy (I played a critical role since New York-based colleagues were unable to communicate) and the financial crisis (transitioning to a corporate role, I managed the CEO’s tour of U.S. cities, including developing key messages, drafting communications, managing feedback, etc.). Responsibilities included:- Editorial manager of Citi's award-winning annual report. The 2015 report achieved a 200 percent year-over-year increase in online readership over the same period following its release. - Lead editor of twice-weekly corporate-wide email newsletter, Citi Global News. My editorial efforts (working with contributors, writing more engaging headlines and abstracts, etc.) led to 30-percentage-point increase in CGN's open rates. - Writer on projects that have engaged both internal and external audiences, including blogs on Citi's presence in Chicago, Washington, D.C., Hong Kong, São Paulo, New York, and Boston.- Lead global liaison to users of Citi's global content management system, communicating with more than 500 users from multiple businesses and regions about changes that affect them.
