Incomparable exposure to the filmmaking business and work on professional sets which has acquainted me with industry equipment, processes, and best practices. Women's March on WashingtonProduced by Shakira Refos"This 10 minute film is centered around 54 women and 1 man as they hop on a bus from Florida to Washington DC. The experience follows the group as they travel 1900 miles in under 72 hours for the Women’s March on Washington on January 21st 2017. The bus drives through the night and into the March on Washington the next day. Characters of all sorts bonded together as they endured tight spaces, leaky roofs and lines for the women’s room. Ask any of them and they’ll say “let’s do it again!”For many this journey was about taking a stand, for other’s it was about doing what seemed right, This is a film not only about an experience, but a movement."
