The purpose of my role as the Technical & Advice support officer was to act as a key technical and training resource to Advisers and Paraplanners, whilst providing support to the Financial Planning (FP) leadership team and the Manager, Practice Support. In addition to my main responsibilities I was also:* Placed on the steering committee for a major process improvement project within the Financial Planning business with five sub streams for business improvement.* Placed as a stream lead to redesign & develop a new Statement of Advice template.Achievements:* Was a part of the team that helped build the new limited advice offering at TelstraSuper and re-scope the comprehensive advice offering to clients.* Was responsible for introducing the Provisio Financial Planning software to TelstraSuper.* Redesigned and redeveloped two Statement of Advice templates which significantly decreased turnaround time for clients and reduced the length of these documents by more than 30%.
