I accompany a high-schooler diagnosed as autist to school, enabling him to participate as fully as possible in the "normal" school system. I have experience teaching English to students of various fields, including ecology, translation and tourism, as well as to students from around the world preparing for studies in Germany.

In both companies I was active in advising, coordinating and facilitating applications and placements of young people, primarily from Germany, in boarding schools (or occasionally colleges) in North America. This included communication with families and students in Europe and with school representatives, faculty and staff in North America both before, during and after a student's semester/year(s) abroad as well as carrying out basic administrative processes.

Taught English to students from Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and other east European countries. Also coordinated, from 1997-2000, the intercultural education at the institute, working together with Czech colleagues to develop a seminar structure enabling interactive learning.

Assisted the Dean of the Seminary, the Dean of Students, the Dean of Faculty, worked in the Student Services office and assisted the Registrar. Sometimes all of that at once!Everything from organizing trips to instituting a welcome reception for international students or doing course scheduling and exam schedules, taking dictation of letters and doing various secretarial duties, telephoning, putting together and editing the annual "face-book" of seminary students, welcoming and assisting/advising new students, etc. etc.
