I was a project manager for "Buddy Bench" within the Enactus team at Worcester State University. We worked towards installing benches at every Worcester public elementary school along with providing interactive assemblies for all of the thousands of students. In addition, we included high school age students from Worcester Technical High School, who built and installed the benches. Our idea is that by teaching early elementary students to accept one another’s differences, we will help to decrease the amount of bullying at an older age, as opposed to waiting until the damage is done to teach older kids what they shouldn’t be doing. WSU Enactus’ Buddy Bench is about early prevention, instead of late intervention.With the backing of Superintendent Maureen Binienda and the Worcester City Council as of Fall 2017, we are extremely excited about the expansion of our project to come. This project fulfills 4 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals:-Partnerships for the Goals-Quality Education-Good Health & Well-being -Sustainable Cities & Communities

I was exposed to many facets of alcohol distribution by shadowing employees in the following areas: Chain Sales Merchandising (CSM):built creative and dynamic displays, sold in cases, serviced the account, etc. Direct Sales Delivery (DSD): Used TOPAZ to order in products and present case discount opportunities to buyers. Broad Market Merchandising:Built displays & serviced accounts of on & off premise accounts. General Market Sales (on-prem):Sold in product to restaurants, bars, etc.Presented cocktail recipes to add to menusConsulted organization of back-bars and opportunities for improvements.*in addition I had the opportunity to attend a general Market managers meeting, a marketing meeting for Deutch brands, interviews for CSM positions, wine & spirits 101 taught by a sommelier, present to a panel of VPs, and much more!

I conducted market research to pinpoint media outlets & travel guides without THBG included, resulting in additions to databases and advertisements such as in The Improper Bostonian for a key exhibit.In addition, I contributed to the execution of key exhibits. For example, Patrick Dougherty’s “Stickwork: Wild Rumpus”I played an integral role in website content creation, including photography and written collateral.
