Unidos Contra la Diabete's has a mission to reduce new instances of diabetes in the Rio Grande Valley by 10% by the year 2030. While this is an ambitious role, the Collective Impact initiative bridges cross sector partners towards innovative ways in reaching their goal. The CI Director brings the five components of collective impact - shared measurements, a common agenda, mutually reinforcing activities, continuous communication, and backbone support - forward to help guide the steering committee and partners towards making strategic and long standing changes towards health.
