Rebecca Shah worked on our behalf to help us sell and purchase a new home.Rebecca was given the challenging assignment of selling our home in Jefferson in the midst of the depressed market.Although at times it seemed like an exercise in futility, she pressed on in her attempts to sell the home with viewings, anopen house and a clear marketing strategy. Not only were we able to sell our home in less than a year (my wife and Ithought it would take at least 12-18 months, if at all, to sell), but we actually sold the home for more than what the listingprice was asking. That enough was a great accomplishment, and her constant communications and timely updates let usknow at all times where things stood on the attempted sale.We then undertook the second objective, which was to purchase a ranch resale in the North Oconee school district. Thefirst home we tried to purchase was a foreclosure that we really wanted. To make a long story short, it turned into anightmare scenario with the bank and representing realtor. Throughout what became unpleasant and in my opinion, highlyunprofessional communications from the home’s representing realtor, Rebecca maintained a level of decorum andcommitment to representing us as the buyer. The home was taken off the market and we decided to make an offer onanother home that we had wanted as well - our backup plan.In a quick turn of events, Rebecca was able to turn her focus on our new purchase and in our opinion negotiated anexcellent purchase price on the home. Our second objective is complete as we are now enjoying our new home and thearea and are thankful that we had Rebecca on our side throughout the entire process.
