From early on when I created an Alternative Break to Israel program, to more recently, when I helped position Jewish camps to meet the needs of participants with disabilities through a $12M grant, building funding infrastructure to achieve a bigger vision is where I find satisfaction.🌀 STRATEGIC PLANNINGAs Senior Director and leadership team member of a large mission-based non-profit, I oversee regional strategy for organizational growth. In particular, I serve on the team that developed a 5-year strategic plan featuring success standards and benchmarks. Additionally, I lead the $50M flagship program while directing client acquisition and engagement strategy. One of my biggest strengths as a leader is an ability to understand how to build roadmaps that position organizations for achieving vision.🌀 PEOPLE & PARTNERSHIP INITIATIVESPeople are important to me. As a leader, I take time to listen and build strong collaborative relationships. This investment has not only delivered key programmatic wins, but it’s also been an inclusive process that invites others to partner in achieving something great together. Nurturing relationships with funders, external organizations, and internal team members, as well as mentoring team members to grow and develop their career, are high priorities for me.➺ WHAT’S NEXT?I love the work I do in grant making, program operations, and relationship management. I offer deep expertise creatively transforming ideas into action, building impactful and sustainable programs, and building strong long-term relationships with grantors and grantees. I also direct key strategic programs integral in expanding camps to serve more campers each year.Select Achievements: ➙ Bolstered ability of camps to meet needs of campers and staff with disabilities via $12M Yashar Inclusion Grant. Initiative led to 53 grants to 46 camps over 4 rounds of applications and resulted in additional training for 100+ camp professionals. ➙ Teamed with the COO and Board to develop a 5-year strategic plan featuring success standards / benchmarks. Designed questions for multiple stakeholder groups & informant feedback process. Analyzed data to guide decision-making, design plan.➙ Led ~$5M in grant programs, including JFAM and Competitive Edge (2 new initiatives with large funders). ➙ Helped generate and allocate $3.6M in emergency funding for capital projects while mitigating health risks during COVID.
