Coordinate and manage the community grants component of the Youth E-cigarette Prevention and Cessation Initiative (YEPCI) for the Commercial Tobacco Prevention & Control Program (CTPC) in the Office of Statewide Health Improvement Initiatives (OSHII). I managed the recruitment process of a research study titled "Effect of a Communication-Bolstered Diabetes Prevention Group Lifestyle Balance Intervention in Young Maternal Caregivers and their Children's Health." I led the team effort in screening participants for eligibility, consenting participants, and collecting biometric measurements. I advertised the study in a Washington DC community, managed team emails, and arranged appointments for participants.

As part of the Child Care Initiative for the Statewide Health Improvement Program, I assisted a health educator in training childcare providers on nutrition, physical activity, and breastfeeding support by preparing teaching materials. I performed literature reviews to identify resources and create content on healthy eating, physical activity, breastfeeding support for a monthly newsletter, "Let's Eat, Play and Grow!" for child care providers and families in Ramsey County, Minnesota. I created and analyzed surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of newsletters, and I developed policy statements and marketing materials for Minnesota Provider Collaborative.
