Rebekah began her career as an educator at Knox Central High School, teaching English to 9th and 10th grade honors students. Within her role as an English teacher, Rebekah also served as the Digital Learning Coach, Assistant Swim Coach, Academic Team Coach, and Governor's Cup Coach. In addition to various coaching positions, Rebekah also served as a class sponsor in which she organized formal events, as well as fundraising events. After teaching for six years, Rebekah transitioned into the position of Library Media Specialist where she teaches information literacy, reading programs, and manages the facility. Within her career as an educator, she has served in several leadership roles, including Guided Coalition and the Leadership team, in which she works alongside the administration to address concerns and works to meet school wide objectives. Rebekah has also began working as a freelance writer, helping to edit and compose material for websites and the stakeholders of her employer.
