My mission is to aid the U.S government by using and continually expanding my skills to assist in preventing threats and identifying solutions. Holding a B.A in Anthropology from Towson University and undergoing innovative research abroad, I promote a culturally sensitive and diverse background. The world is constantly changing and with so many factors at play, I believe we have to commit to being life-long learners. I continue to research old and emerging key regions that may affect U.S interests and well as embarking on earning my Master’s degree at American University. During my master's program, I have studied the intricacies of global governance which has allowed me to understand the value, complexities, power, culture, and chain-of-command of institutions both at home and abroad. I highlight my commitment to serve, use my skillset and knowledge as well as my commitment to being a life-long learner, curious, and excited to absorb more information in order to always be an asset.

Political Affairs Intern

Baltimore, Maryland, United States

As a Foreign Affairs Intern, I was excited to have joined a non-profit that works to make global poverty a focus of U.S foreign policy while mobilizing citizens to engage with their congressional leaders. During this time, I organized fundraising events, gathered data, prepared reports, lobbied, wrote, called and met with congressional leaders. In this role, I had the opportunity to engage with congressional leaders to address bills to improve women’s rights, education and securing the International Affairs Budget. I also developed communication strategies to focus on legislation and connected with various media outlets to foster awareness within the United States to further support of poverty alleviation aid abroad.I am proud to have raised $500 by organizing and hosting local events to include seminars, classes and summits to build awareness on the organization’s cause. Data Management Intern

Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, Guatemala

I was handpicked for this internship position to support the organization with research in Guatemala for non-profit organizations lacking in the areas of community/social impact, environmental impact, domestic violence, and education. I gathered data, conducted data analysis, prepared reports, and delivered my findings to senior management of future philanthropic developments in the country.
