Brian Rector has been helping people with their finances for more than 12 years, but the road he took to owning his own firm was anything but typical. After graduating with a degree in finance from Metro State University, Brian began working with AIM Mutual Funds at their Denver Invesco office. He quickly learned that many of the brokers he worked with saw investing with a decidedly market-heavy bias. After 4 years he transitioned to a small Denver based company focusing on the insurance side of investing and retirement planning. Again he realized that many in this business were focusing on insurance to the exclusion of other suitable investments. Today Brian works with his clients at Cantilever Financial Group to implement a blended and balanced portfolio that includes both equities and guaranteed insurance strategies. Outside of the office Brian loves landscaping his property in Parker, Colorado and spending time with his family.
