With over 20 years of work experience in accounting, finance, and audit, I am a Co-Founder of R&B Advisory Solutions, a boutique firm that provides strategic and operational guidance to clients in various industries. I started my career at PwC focused on risk assurance activities including performing financial and regulatory compliance audits, augmented/developed internal audit functions leading large teams and offshore resources, developed/enhanced enterprise wide risk management programs, and implemented regulatory compliance initiatives. Prior to establishing R&B, I was the Advisory Growth Director at SAPRO, a global consulting firm, where I led the development and execution of new business opportunities in Internal Audit, IT Audit, Sarbanes Oxley, Transaction Advisory, and ESG. Before that, I was the VP of Internal Audit at Alleghany Corporation, a diversified holding company, where I implemented a multi-year audit transformation strategy investing in talent to build and diversify the internal audit function, implemented internal controls for private and emerging growth companies preparing for their initial public offering, supported Cybersecurity awareness, DEI and ESG reporting initiatives, and enhanced risk management practices across various portfolio companies. As the Director of Internal Audit at Blue Apron, an emerging growth company preparing for its initial public offering, I developed the internal audit function, implemented Sarbanes Oxley Compliance, and supported the business in establishing their enterprise wide risk management programs by pragmatically overseeing the Company's insurance portfolio. I have a BA in Accounting and Economics from Queens College, and multiple skills in new business development, internal audit transformation, and internal control implementation.
