At Graphic Packaging, I worked in a small team designing, building, testing, and servicing high-speed carton converting machinery. Designs were developed using Solidworks and SmarTeam PDM. Building activities included part machining and mechanical section assembly. I also supervised machine installations and start-ups, performed in-field service and repairs, and installed machine upgrades.

Coordinated event set-ups, managed linen service crews, and maintained table and chair inventories for a multi-million dollar summertime conference operation.

Snellville, Ga

Production machinist responsible for increasing production runs tenfold using conventional vertical milling machines and medium sized lathes. Parts manufactured were primarily stainless steel (bars, rounds, and tubes), aluminum (bars and rounds), and Delrin (bars and rounds) for use in portable x-ray machine carts. I also developed and implemented a repair and preventative maintenance program for aging machinery to reduce unplanned production disruptions.
