I am a Brand and Communications Manager at 54 reasons which delivers Save the Children Australia's domestic services. I have over 15 years of experience in communications and operations roles in both the marketing and not-for-profit sectors. I hold degrees in both Adversiting and Development Studies. When I started in my current role, I was responsible for the planning and rollout of the 54 reasons' sub-brand, 54 reasons. This included developing a go-to-market strategy, developing and facilitating training sessions for over 700 staff, establishing new communications channels and procuring branded assets for every service delivery site across the country which included both urban and remote locations.Today, I continue to lead our domestic communications strategy, planning and implementation. I also monitor performance and have established a regular reporting rhythm, as well as an annual workplan. I oversee the development of collateral to support business development, stakeholder engagement and internal communications. I am passionate about listening to children and young people and embedding their voices in all brand-related communications and activities. Prior to starting in the Brand and Communications Manager role, I was Operations and Business Support Manager for Victoria, NSW and South Australia. In this role, I oversaw state-level operations and was responsible for managing a number of government contracts which included liaising with external stakeholders, managing budgets, recruitment, data collection and reporting. I managed a diverse team that provided a range of business support to service delivery teams, including administration support, fleet management, communications, compliance support, volunteer management, procurement and professional development. I was also a part of two separate working groups that developed Save the Children's first child rights and child participation programs for children in Australia. During the Black Summer Bushfires, I managed state-level operations for our emergency response and recovery services which included the delivery of child-friendly spaces in response and recovery centres across Victoria and NSW.
