My journey started as a s/w developer, worked for designing & developing products for corporate banking clients, got exposure to variety of tools & technologies. Also, led the Run The Bank team & trained the team members on the underlying applications to operate in 24 X 7 model. Heavily investing on soft skills and Stakeholder Management skills reaped benefits for the team, marking huge success for India team.Thereafter, shifted gears, got trained in QA domain. When the organization started its IT transformation journey, my coding skills helped speed up on test automation & also on other testing types like - performance, accessibility & security. Became an E2E Global Test Manager with the Asset Management arm of the firm with a focused shift on Agile & DevOps, implemented automated test suites, integrated them in CI/CD pipeline and kicked-off with Cloud implementation & testing.Got chance to get trained by renowned trainers via various leadership programs within India as well as travelled around the globe (UK, Hongkong). Underwent different courses, understood diverse cultures & people that enhanced my leadership, management & team building skills.Joining a retirement firm after a banking firm was a mindset shift. Learnt new terminologies and tools to settle myself in the role. In current role, I am responsible for quality delivery of retirement products for the Institutional clients as well as getting involved in product testing to serve Individuals too. Built a team consisting of Hybrid QAs, pulled work from multiple locations to India, built team's skillset on the go, expanded role by owning multiple teams & ran them E2E from India by delivering cost efficiencies for the firm.Trained myself into SAFe, got certified as a SAFe 6 Practice Consultant to consult Agile Release trains & also trained the firm's taskforce in India and USA on various Agile roles like SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master, Product Owner, etc.Strong believer of diversity and advocate programs like Women in Leadership & Women in Tech.
