With my time at Ampito, there were many roles I took hold of, with my main duties being preparation for new starters, filing and sorting different departments paperwork, and creating extensive Excel spreadsheets to give all the information needed for weekly holiday reviews. I also extensively used the People HR suite to deal and complete other Human Resources queries, while also having the opportunity to build upon my IT skill set with advanced training in Excel, Outlook, and Office SharePoint. More than once I was asked to use my editing skills for contracts and proposals, while writing internal documents and letters to new starters. I have had to deal with hard deadlines for tasks, booking and invoicing for both local and international travel companies, all the while working with a small team to maximise efficiency within the office.

Working within a large team, we had to complete set targets every day to keep up with the amount of items our customers have ordered. I had to learn how to operate new technology to scan and organise orders, keep a specific target for myself and reach that threshold within a timely manner. Customer satisfaction was the main priority, with each order and item coming with instructions how to organise the order, while keeping delicate items apart, and checking quality.

My role involved maintenance of the shop floor, dealing with customers in a professional manor, organising stock for display, and dealing with transitions and returns. Customer service was the top priority, with a large amount of my time devoted to finding specific items for the customers, jumping to different departments as I was needed to keep queueing at a minimum, and working with a team of other like minded individuals to make the store run smoothly.
