Current Co-Lead of the ChIP Project and board member of the UCLA AIChE chapter. In this role, I act as a project lead and advisor for freshman and transfer students involved in the Chemical Engineering Introductory Project that provides exposure to important engineering technical skills including coding, circuity design, CAD, 3D printing, soldering, and laser cutting by building a coffee machine within a $100 budget. I organize meetings, create technical presentations and resources for participants to use, coordinate with faculty to appropriate funds for the project and organize presentation events, and work alongside other AIChE board members to engage in the greater UCLA engineering community.
