I was reelected as an officer with the Secretary role for the NC State's ASABE chapter for this upcoming academic year! My roles in this position include informing and keeping the members up to date as well as collaborating with the other officers to plan bi-weekly meetings and other club events.

I was elected by my chapter to fulfil the duties of the Social Media and Outreach chair for NC State's ASABE chapter. My roles include running the social media platforms, including Instagram, to promote the BAE department as well as increase fundraising through advertisement posts.

As an engineering ambassador of NCSU, I help assist the recruitment and education of first-year students through hosting information sessions and working at Open House events. It is our role to help support the college of engineering in any way possible, so I keep my volunteering time open for various activities.

Working at Talley Market, I handle customer transactions via register operation with attention to detail as well as fulfil ice-cream orders with accuracy and speed.

In addition to school work of earning my bachelor's degree, I recently was hired as a part-time dining server at Carolina Country Club. On the job, I assist members in order selection by recommending specific menu items as well as the daily specials, and ensure prompt and accurate service in both casual and fine dining experiences.

At WithersRavenel, I learned so much regarding the stormwater infrastructure throughout North Carolina. I worked on stormwater management plans designing various wetlands and wet ponds using ArcGIS Pro and AutoCAD, as well as creating dam breach modeling systems for Dam Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) using HEC-RAS software. Additionally, I got to attend a few site visits throughout the summer to learn all about the applications of the designs/projects I had been working on as seen below!

This summer, I had the pleasure of interning at C&J Building Solutions where I utilized Power BI to dashboard project financials and provide updated data analytics to the team. I was able to enhance my understanding of HVAC systems and controls by working with design renderings and touring on-site projects.

This summer, I worked at Hermitage Country Club as both a dining server and banquet server in addition to my internship. I used great attention to detail to fully set up and manage buffets and events while communicating effectively with members of the club to provide accurate service in both casual and fine dining experiences. I am still continuing employment with this company part time on major holidays when I'm back home for school breaks.
