I have 10 years working experience in a food and water testing laboratory which also includes environmental testing. In these years I have acquired skills in testing and identifying food borne pathogens and food contaminants in raw, semi-finished and finished food products, these include testing for Salmonella, Shigella,Total plate count, E.coli/ coliforms, Listeria.monocytogenes or species, Staphylococcus.aureus, E.coli 0157, Campylobactor.jejuni, yeast/mould, Yersinia.Enterocolitica, Bacillus.cereus, Clostridium.perfringens and Vibrio cholerae. Water testing of fresh, river, potable, bottle water and sewage water for water borne pathogens ( these include Salmonella, Shigella, Cholerae, Legionella, total plate count, coliforms and E.coli) and also the testing of environmental swabs for total bacterial, coliforms and E.coli counts, Salmonella, Listeria, Staphylococcus. aureus,air settle plates for air monitoring and testing for air quality. I am passionate about working with food and water microbiology and determining the quality thereof. I am initiative; result orientated, self-motivated and can perform well under pressure I have experience in equipment maintanance and instrument maintenance according to ISO 17025.I have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and organisational skills and good in languages, I can communicate in Sesotho, isiZulu, Isiswati, isindebele, English, Afrikaans, isixhosa, Setswana.
