As a Shift Operations Lead for our customer Security Operations Center, (cSOC), I am responsible for the day-to-day management and tasking of 40+ cyber security engineers, across all support tiers, and for all 3 of our main services: Managed Detection and Response, Managed Awareness, and Managed Risk. I focus on manpower allocation, SLA attainment for triage ticketing, and overall improvement of performance metrics for the global cSOC. This requires a significant amount of inter/intra departmental communication and teamwork, with other Leads, Managers, and Directors to achieve our impressive results. Additionally, I am tasked with creating and evolving processes and workflows aimed at increasing the effectiveness of our suite of services.These responsibilities extend to serving as an departmental incident commander for a wide range of business impacting events like Log4j/shell, ransomware campaigns, and even internal operations outages. As our departments voice in the IM processes, it is essential that I maintain an awareness of not only the cSOC, but also the entirety of the Security Services (S2) department, to ensure our attempts to resolve the incident are comprehensive and successful.Lastly, I enjoy mentoring our engineers and leads in their role and in their career goals at Arctic Wolf. It is a personal pleasure to see the growth and development of both new and seasoned engineers and leads, as they take successful strides in their stories.

My evolution into Technical Program Manager was driven by my success in managing a small number of developers, and focusing their efforts and attentions to more strategic goals. In my role I have excelled in implementing and evolving initiatives for several aspects of strategic automation goals for fleet management of the thousands of Rackspace's network devices.Within the Network Security Infrastructure Architects (NSI) team I have implemented Agile methodologies with an emphasis on Scrum processes, in order to generate comprehensive, repeatable, and scalable success for over a dozen major NSI projects. Working with our Directors and other executive leadership to develop project charters and goals. I also create, and provide regular updates to our yearly Strategic Projects Roadmap for the NSI team and deliver to our departments leadership teams.Additionally, I still maintain a tactical project management focus on a small number of tools that have reach and impact beyond my Network Security department.
