Tree-Range Farms is the final cog in an ecosystem built on regenerative land practices, animal health and family farmer profitability & sustainability. The system is firmly grounded in a time-tested agriculture approach which places a premium on resiliency and measures success for the entire community.

I have worked on economic development since 1998 when I started working with indigenous Guatemalan communities. Served as a consultant for the United Nations Development Program’s Bureau for Latin America, and as an advisor to the World Council of Indigenous Peoples, Co-Founded the Fair Trade Federation in 1994, served as the first vice-president, created Peace Coffee in 1996, a fair-trade coffee company and have worked with woodland owners in the Midwest and Guatemala. I have worked with several Forest Stewardship Certified forestry businesses, was recognized 1996 with one of the Twin Cities International Citizens of the Year and honored with many awards for service to communities since then.Originally from Guatemala, I have a degree in agronomy from the Central National School of Agriculture, studies at the Universidad de San Carlos in Guatemala and graduated from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. My extra curricular studies includes higher level education on agriculture sciences, a Mini Masters in Business Administration from Saint Thomas University in Saint Paul, MN and specialized training in project management as well as perennial agriculture disciplines.
