Lead an off-campus community education and training center at JBSA Ft. San Houston. Developed, coordinated and evaluated all administrative functions and student support services of an off-campus community education and training center. Serving as a one-stop shop for students, providing program/ course advisement, registration, assessment, admissions, and financial aid. Coordinated instructional support services to include planning and scheduling annual course schedule, acting as liaison between students and instructors, recruiting adjunct faculty, procuring classroom facilities. Advised students concerning course work. Using Banner to register students for classes, drop classes, add/remove holds, and provide TSI testing exemptions for active duty military students. Processed Military Tuition Assistance forms for all service branch members of the military. Completed graduation audits and advising for course work in degree plans. Analyzed needs of the active duty military and veteran communities to ensure Colleges offer training and services that are effective. Ensured proper facilities maintenance as well as proper functioning of all computerized systems including web registration/testing and instructional technologies. Oversees building use and operations; monitors room assignments and usage. Ensures security is in place for center.Ensured and maintained compliance of installation Memorandum of Agreement and Department of Defense Memorandum of Understanding.Prepared, recommends, and assures conformance with budget; oversees the use of funds, equipment, and supplies.Maintains appropriate records to assure compliance.Hired, train, supervise evening monitors, coaches, and evaluates the work of others.
