CurrentAs a Healthcare Practice Group Principal, I collaborate with colleagues in service of BerryDunn's mission to help our clients create, grow, and protect value.In my additional role as BerryDunn's Director of Independent Review Organization Services, I serve as the practice area lead for claims and arrangements reviews, as well as primary contact for our clients under Corporate Integrity Agreements (CIA) with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS OIG). My consulting areas of subject matter expertise include Medicare and Medicaid payment policy, Payer audit response, Anti-kickback (AKS) and Stark, HIPAA Privacy, Cures Act, Health Information Management, Revenue Integrity and general healthcare regulatory compliance.
