Served as the subject matter expert within the Mission Training Complex for all training related to the Protection Warfighting Function, including current doctrinal and Army Tactics, Techniques and Procedures which includes the related automated tools and staff planning techniques. Provided training block of instructions on Mission Command Systems (i.e. CPOF, FBCB2) and utilizes simulations to drive training. Responsible for providing simulation and models training, subject matter expertise, over-the-shoulder training, production of exercise/event materials to include after action reviews (AAR) and lessons learned. Also provided exercise/event analysis in support of simulation enhanced training/tactical gaming and other MEDCOM / AMEDDC&S directed training. Responsible for monitoring ongoing training and modifying scenarios in real time as needed to ensure the training objectives are achieved. Developed and published exercise guidance, coordinated the development of all required exercise products to include supporting the writing of the Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) items for Antiterrorism/ Force Protection areas. Conducted post-training analysis to measure the effectiveness of the training, and where appropriate, recommended changes to specific scenarios to better represent the in-theater experience.
