Executive Director
CurrentAs the Executive Director, I am honored to lead an award-winning, faith-based, and accredited not-for-profit organization that has been serving our community for over 104 years. Every day, I get to lead incredible men and women as they foster educational, social, and spiritual development through various impactful programs that make a lasting difference in the lives of Chattanooga's citizens and families. My role involves strategic leadership, operational management, and fostering partnerships that enhance our ability to serve the community effectively. I am passionate about creating opportunities for growth and development, ensuring that our programs are impactful and sustainable. Our Key Programs:Read to Lead Academy: Our flagship out-of-school-time educational program empowers young minds and fosters a love for learning. The Read to Lead After School Academy provides youth with a safe and nurturing environment after school where they can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.Caminos Program: This federally funded initiative managed by The Bethlehem Center, provides post-release services and home studies for children who enter the United States without a guardian, commonly referred to as recently migrated youth. Funded by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), this program helps fulfill our mission to build lasting relationships one family at a time.Farm at The Beth: Over the past three years, our community-supported farm has produced thousands of pounds of produce. What started as a handful of raised beds has expanded into an operation with over 20,000 square feet of growing space, thanks to the efforts of community members, partners, and volunteers. With the guidance of City Farms Grower Coalition, we have upgraded our systems to include a hoop house, rainwater catchment, and pollinator plants.
