Responsible for driving growth throughout the “student lifecycle” within the various markets of the region. The role is part of the senior management team reporting directly into the Market Director – MENASA. Provide leadership as well as support to colleagues across the region actively working with key stakeholders. Involved in formulation and implementation of regional strategies to optimise growth in student numbers and the performance of students throughout the student lifecycle. Specifically, involved in oversight of the implementation of education services for the broad range of ACCA tuition providers and universities, ensuring support for employer facing staff accrediting employers and ensuring that ACCA and FIA/FD awards are recognised as part of national education and qualification frameworks.

Led the southern region of ACCA Pakistan, and responsible for the delivery of ACCA's strategy in this region to achieve membership growth and establish and maintain high-level relationships with each of ACCA's critical stakeholders. These included (but not limited to) the local accounting profession, government and its agencies, regulators, employers, educational institutions and learning providers and ACCA members. Ensuring efficient operational functioning and effective budgeting and oversee the quality delivery of services to all stakeholders in the region. Represented ACCA as a local figurehead and key spokesperson in local media on subjects in relation to the accountancy profession and the ACCA.

Led the Research and Advisory department of Crosby Securities Pakistan. My responsibilities in research included review of financial models and periodic reports, making investment recommendations to clients, and carrying out macro-level analysis to determine capital market expectations. My responsibilities in Advisory included advising clients on regulatory issues, structuring of transactions and capital market related issues.CSPL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Crosby Asset Management South Asia, which has presence in Singapore, London and Hong Kong.

During my tenure in SECP, I was involved in product development in equity markets, review of regulatory frameworks, strengthening of risk management measures at stock exchanges and participated in various projects relating to capital markets, such as CFS Mk-II, Non-Broker Margining System, Demutualisation of stock exchanges and securities lending/ borrowing mechanism.

I worked for four years in A. F. Ferguson & Co. (a member firm of PwC). I was part of the team which specialised in Financial Services. Most of my engagements related to risk advisory, such as:1.
