Conducted research on thermal optimization of film-cooling holes on gas turbine airfoil under the guidance of Dr. Sandip Dutta. Research includes thermal analysis in ANSYS, with code for boundary conditions and optimization written in Python.

Developed nodal MATLAB and time-dependent COMSOL models to assess the reliability of motor windings in electrified aircraft, using dynamic transient conditions throughout the flight profile. Assessed the impact of location (e.g. elevation, temperature profiles, humidity) on an active cooling system for electric motors in Urban Air Mobility applications.Created extensive review of literature on fault methods, modeling, detection, and assessment for stator windings in electric motors.

Developed code for fully autonomous 2D movement of a robot for urban search and rescue in C++ using Arduino IDE. Work also included creating position tracking for the robot in an indoor environment, and generated a GUI in Matlab to demonstrate movement path and surrounding obstacles.

Gained over 1000 hours of Solidworks experience designing factory automation machines, and developed PLC code for automating factory processes. I conducted the 3D modeling in Solidworks of both workstations and automated machines, and conducted troubleshooting of my designs in the field, allowing me to see how to improve. I also gained experience programming in RSLogix with my time spent with the Controls team.
