The Center for Responsible Business at Berkeley-Haas connects students, businesses, and faculty to mobilize the positive potential of business to create a more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable society. Building on more than a decade of research, teaching, and engaging with business, we educate and provoke thoughtful debate. The Center encourages sustainability-minded research and its application in the marketplace of commerce and ideas.• Conduct research and identify trending topics in sustainable business standards and practices• Advertise the CRB by writing and editing copy for our social media, blog, newsletter, and website• Manage posting of social and digital content across social media platforms, website, and blog• Publicize CRB events, classes, and initiatives by creating marketing materials in multiple mediums• Assist in planning and execution of large events of environmentally focused events (Patagonia Case Competition, Peterson Speaker Series)

• Wrote pitches for sustainability & energy focused media about Google’s 24/7 Carbon Free Energy goal• Synthesized technical project plans into high level comms briefs for executive speaking engagements• Drafted social media posts for executives and gathered data to inform strategy for increased engagement• Worked cross functionally across Google Cloud teams to source unique employee stories and pitch them• Produced complete and accurate carbon-free energy informational materials for reporter education• Reviewed and fact checked communications plans to ensure they were clear and followed guidelines
