Every aspect of doing business came together in my job as director for this medium sized company; from strategy to product development, international sales, marketing and public relations, production, purchase and finance. I steered the company through some difficult years by expanding export, managing two major reorganisations, reducing purchase prices, reducing absenteeism and constantly improving lead times, reliability and quality. I was responsible for the product- and brand development. I made the brand Pastoe more visible through social media (over 20.000 Facebook fans), pr and communication and the celebration of the 100 year jubilee. Together with a multi-disciplinary team of creative people we made a jubilee book (5.000 copies) and organised the jubilee exhibition in The Kunsthal in Rotterdam (over 150.000 visitors) which generated over € 1.0 mio in free publicity. When I came to Pastoe delivery times were too long and the delivery reliability was low. With the Pastoe team we reduced the delivery times and improved the reliability and we succesfully reduced quality complaints as well.

Emet is a result oriented consultancy company. After 3 weeks of qualitative and quantitative studies we made a change plan and implemented the improvements working with teams. The teams consisted of consultants and people from the company. The results were measured and went up to savings of € 750.000 in a few months’ time.I started as a consultant and when I left I was a projectmanager and member of the management team. Adrem was my own consultancy company.In the Slovak factory I analysed processes and implemented a new way of planning and quality management.
