Studio Tjimkje is one the labels of Dutch designer Tjimkje de Boer. Evidenced by the broad product range, Tjimkje derives inspiration for new work often from day-to-day scenes. And however meaningless these observations may seem, by tilting reality or twisting the context just a little… The common becomes extraordinary, Asian mountaintops become monumental lighting objects, buttons transform into a chair, and a classical painting inspires to create Picturesque Mirrors.
