I am currently participating in SCALE, the premier U.S. program for semiconductor workforce development within the defense sector. Funded by the Department of Defense, SCALE is led by Purdue University and managed by NSWC Crane on behalf of OUSD R&E. This innovative program redefines training for U.S. microelectronics engineers, hardware designers, and manufacturing experts, ensuring the continued leadership of the United States in this critical field.As part of Dr. Peide Ye's research group, I am leading my own original project focused on exploring 2D tellurium for underwater advanced pressure sensors. In this research, I am comparing thin-film versus nanowire geometries of tellurium under extreme pressure conditions (0.2 GPa to 1.1 GPa) to determine which configuration offers optimal performance for this specialized application.

Founder and leader of the 501c3 non-profit organization, StrongStripes, focused on providing unwavering support to children grappling with rare diseases, a cause particularly close to my heart as someone personally impacted by rare diseases. Spearheaded the creation and management of the "StrongStripes.org" website, leveraging digital platforms to amplify our mission's reach. Skillfully orchestrated a series of impactful events, fostering a sense of community and raising awareness for these deserving individuals. Additionally, managed critical administrative processes to ensure the smooth operation and growth of the organization. Through StrongStripes, I'm dedicated to making a lasting difference in the lives of children facing rare diseases.

Selected for the prestigious Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program (SEAP) at NIWC Atlantic, I had the unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a highly competitive environment with a 5% acceptance rate. During my time at NIWC Atlantic, I:- Developed an AI system using the You Only Look Once (YOLO) Algorithm and BasicAI to identify naval mines and fish species, enhancing safety and efficiency in marine operations.- Engineered a GPS Dead Reckoning Sensor for accurate coordinate recording, contributing to advanced navigation solutions for underwater unmanned vehicles.- Modified a prototype called Spider Sense based on feedback from marines, which involved redoing wiring block diagrams and product procurement to improve usability and effectiveness. The modifications reduced the price by 30%, adding more than 10 new features to the product.- Configured a spiral acoustic wave transducer. Soldered sensors and wires to develop the prototype. Developed CAD pieces to make the prototype more functional and organized.- Designed and 3D printed an advanced external battery pack for an Underwater Unmanned Vehicle, showcasing my skills in innovation and technical design.My dedication and hard work were recognized with an Exceptional Performance Award and a Challenge Coin for my significant contributions. I am passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems and am eager to continue making impactful contributions in the field of engineering and technology.

Completed a 3-week hybrid apprenticeship in quant trading. Learned the programming language SQL, and worked in a team to model a quant trading situation. Received a stipend for my work during the apprenticeship.

In my role as a dedicated Sales Associate, I went beyond delivering exceptional customer experiences to showcase my versatility across various store operations. From meticulously steaming products to maintain a polished store appearance to exhibiting exceptional proficiency in inventory management, I ensured that every aspect of the store reflected excellence. As a Kode with Klossy Student in 2020, I was privileged to collaborate with a dynamic team on the creation of "bookage," an innovative website designed to destigmatize mental health through the power of literature and book clubs. Through this project, I honed my coding skills while making a meaningful contribution to a cause I'm deeply passionate about. This experience not only expanded my technical proficiency but also underscored the potential of technology to drive positive social change.
