My name is Remy Santos. I am an Information Technology Major, with technical interests in Database Management, Web Design, and Cybersecurity. I currently live in Naples, FL, and graduated from Florida State University in the Fall of 2019.While attending Florida State University, I have acquired many useful skills and techniques that I believe will translate well in the field of information and communication. Due to three years of specialized training in communication at Florida State University, I am able to effectively engage in both verbal and written settings. These skills ensure that positive customer service is a natural trait. My capability to multi-task, prioritize, organize, and perform ensures I deliver a product that exceeds expectations.As of April 2020, I have been working as a Federal System Engineer for Cerner Corporation. As a System Engineer I, I design, install, monitor and support technology infrastructures across Cerner applications and servers. My role requires me to perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware/OS upgrades and resource optimization. The end goal is a system built for optimal integrity, recoverability and availability. I have experience in a variety of technologies – including but not limited to Linux, Windows, Networking, Batch Scripting, Automation, Database and Virtualization tools.
