About Rena Lenchitz

Having completed a Masters of Science in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University, I am currently employed at the Penn Early Childhood Center at Park Avenue Synagogue. My passion for narrative-based practices (in medicine and beyond) has taken me to a new setting: early childhood education.I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Medical Sciences through the College of Medicine, and a degree in English: Literary and Cultural Studies from the College of Arts and Sciences. Previously, I completed an internship at UC Health with the Patient Experience Team at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. I also worked at the Academic Writing Center at UC as a Coordinator & Peer Tutor. Some of my academic interests include medical humanities, narratology, and disability studies. I maintain a strong passion for community engagement.
