I read and analyze over a hundred poetry submissions seasonally. Bi-weekly meetings are held with fellow poetry editors and the managing director to discuss the literary quality of submissions. Before the magazine is published, I do a detailed reviewing of the magazine’s PDF to ensure grammatical and authentic accuracy.

At Glitter, I pitched and wrote articles three times a week for their affiliate brands to be published on the Glitter Magazine site. This included products from Neiman Marcus, Martha Stewart, L'Oréal, Nordstrom, and more. I used Wordpress to compose my posts and added them to Buffer as well. I gained a deeper understanding on the process of Wordpress, SEO, as well as creating creative, edgy titles, and writing easy-and-quick-to-read posts.

Miscalucl[Asian] is an all-remote, youth-led online magazine that focuses on the voices of Asian and Asian Pacific Islanders from all over the world. Working with them has allowed me to put into action my passion for social justice, my strong sense of time management to balance my position with schooling, and growing into the skillful creator I am today. It has also enhanced my abilities to create and write articles on a deadline.

At iSmileTechnologies, I was able to experience a real-world work setting. I had the chance to collaborate with team members to create marketing flyers, as well as work on blog posts and data sheets for the company's products and services.

At Chabot College's Learning Center, I offered support to Liberal Arts Math students. Support was through helping them review for tests, go over difficult concepts, homework help, and emotional support as well. As math can be a tantalizing and intimidating subject for many, my experience with it allowed me to connect with students on a deeper level and feel more safe and comfortable in the tutoring environment.
