I am a recent college graduate with a B.A. in English and Literature from New York University and an A.A. in English from Chabot College. During my four years of rigorous education, I fostered reading, writing, and communication skills. I have participated in internships and projects focusing on writing and editing professionally, including my current position at October Hill Magazine. I currently review over a hundred poetry submissions every season individually and with a team. I also write blog posts centered around writing and publishing for the magazine's website. I strive to be in a role where I can exercise my current editing, reading, and collaborating skills, all while learning new ones from the more experienced.
