• Provides technical assistance to health centers on contraceptive access for adolescents • Serves as grant project lead to oversee project deliverables and implementation of project activities• Trains professionals in evidence based teen pregnancy prevention programs, teen friendliness for healthcare centers, contraceptive counseling and other sexual and reproductive health and program planning topics• Provides technical assistance to higher education institutions on sexual and reproductive health education and awareness events for older youth. • Assists with event planning and logistics for organization’s annual conference, networking events, trainings and other events

Provides instruction for public health courses in the College of Nursing and Health Care Professions

•Main coordinator for outreach activities through health fairs through out the state•Education classes regarding health disparities in minority and rural populations on nutrition, physical activity•Assisted with faculty research studies and grant writing

•Coordinated outreach activities including promotion of clinic services, health campaigns and attending local health fairs •Conducted education classes regarding life skills, sexually transmitted diseases and family planning services •Counselor on pregnancy options, family planning options and HIV testing and treatment•Clinic assistant working front desk including scheduling patient appointments, patient data input, clerical duties, monitoring patient vital signs in recovery room

•Assisted the Drug Elimination Program with community resource center for at-risk youth •Provided abstinence education and basic Spanish and provided academic tutoring to at-risk youth •Mentored youth about life skills, decision making, and academic choices
