I am an attorney with in-house experience advising on compliance issues in a highly regulated environment.I have 9+ years of experience of navigating 2 CFR 200 and 45 CFR 75 compliance regulations for handling federal cooperative agreement and grant awards including internal controls, cost principals, and other internal operations and HR policies to safeguard an organization's activities. Additionally, I have experience in non-profit law including governance, single-audit preparation and compliance, board recruitment and policy, 990 preparation, and more. In this role, I have worked on both the grantor and grantee side of the award process, from RFP construction, proposal writing, proposal review, awarding, and managing the life-cycle of funding awards.I also monitor legislative activity and work with a coalition of professionals to protect and advance the interests of my organization.Prior to my non-profit career, I worked on broadcast, cable, satellite, and radio issues in the FCC regulatory environment.
