Since October 2024, I have led the technical team at Agoro Carbon Brazil, focusing on promoting growers’ success in increasing soil organic carbon and integrating sustainability with innovation in our practices. As a quality guardian of carbon projects, I ensure that each participating grower meets Agoro Carbon's eligibility criteria, reflecting our commitment to the carbon credit market.My main responsibilities include:GS Team Leadership: I develop and support the technical team to combine technical excellence with a growth-oriented commercial vision, aligning the team’s objectives with the company's overall strategy.Collaborative Management of Sustainable Practices: I work in partnership with the science, market development, and commercial teams to identify and validate new sustainable practices that meet growers' needs, enhancing our solution offerings.Soil Sampling and Data Management: I coordinate soil sampling monitoring for clients in carbon projects, ensuring the collection and validation of data for carbon sequestration verification.Institutional Representation: I represent Agoro Carbon in committees, sectoral discussions, and technical events, articulating the company’s position to support public policies that promote the carbon market and sustainable agriculture.Strategic Support to the MD: I provide technical and strategic support to the Managing Director, assisting in market negotiations and developing new carbon credit offerings.This role allows me to combine technical expertise with strategic vision, contributing to strengthening Agoro Carbon’s impact in the Brazilian market and agricultural sector.

Since April 2024, I have been leading business development at Agoro Carbon Alliance, a company that promotes the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and/or atmospheric carbon removal, improving soil conditions sustainably. I am responsible for driving the company’s growth and sustainability strategy in the agricultural sector, focusing on identifying market opportunities and strengthening strategic partnerships with research and academic institutions. My role also involves influencing public policy, participating in sustainability committees, and representing the company at key events to promote sustainable practices and expand our market impact.

As a member of the Sustainability Committee at ABAG, I help develop and implement action plans aimed at consolidating sustainable practices and generating economic, environmental, and social value in agribusiness. Additionally, I am involved in promoting and embedding the concept and practice of sustainability and in identifying and applying relevant indicators. My work also encompasses representing and engaging the agribusiness sector in climate change issues, both nationally and internationally.

From September 2023 to May 2024, I served as CEO at TAXO Agroambiental, a company offering solutions to major agribusiness clients. In this role, I coordinated multidisciplinary teams, optimized processes, and implemented best practices to maximize operational efficiency. I was responsible for ensuring the development of customized agro-environmental solutions in sustainability, climate intelligence, decarbonization, and other socio-environmental topics. I also led the monitoring of project progress, resolved complex problems, and facilitated effective communication among all stakeholders, significantly contributing to the business's success and sustainability. I secured substantial contracts with large companies, bringing impactful business to the company.

From June 2022 to September 2023, I served as the Head of the Latin America region at Regrow Ag, a B2B company providing monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) solutions for agricultural projects in the voluntary carbon market. I successfully negotiated and closed four significant business deals and approved an innovative research project funded by the Land Innovation Fund in partnership with AgTech Garage. During my tenure, I also established a strategic collaboration with the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (Esalq/USP), strengthening the bond between industry and academia.

For nearly five years, I served as President of the Board of Associação Rede ILPF, which aims to enhance the sustainability of Brazilian agriculture through the adoption of crop-livestock-forestry integration (ILPF) technologies. During my tenure, I secured significant international projects (such as the Rural Sustainable Project, funded by the UK Government) aimed at mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, increasing carbon stocks, adopting ILPF systems, and implementing green finance. These initiatives not only advanced environmental goals but also reinforced the association's position as a leader in sustainable agricultural practices.

At Embrapa, a company focused on generating knowledge and technologies for Brazilian agriculture, I worked as a researcher for nearly 12 years, mainly in the areas of climate change and sustainable agriculture. I coordinated over 20 innovative research and development (R&D) projects, seeking practical and effective solutions to modern environmental challenges. I published over 50 scientific articles in renowned international journals, contributed to dozens of book chapters, and presented hundreds of abstracts at national and international conferences. These efforts not only expanded scientific knowledge in relevant fields but also strengthened sustainable management practices in the agricultural sector, influencing policies and production techniques worldwide.During my tenure at Embrapa, I held various management positions, including Supervisor of the Natural Resources Research Unit at Embrapa Agrosilvipastoril; Deputy Head of R&D; Supervisor of International Relations; and Supervisor of Communications at Embrapa Solos.

I began my journey at Embrapa as the head of the Secretariat for Intelligence and Strategic Relations. In this role, I led and managed a multidisciplinary team of 107 highly qualified professionals across the departments of Intelligence, Macrostrategy, Communication, and Institutional Relations. I was responsible for developing integrated strategies that significantly expanded Embrapa's influence and recognition on both national and international stages.I also spearheaded the definition of strategies to promote innovation through competitive intelligence and implemented policies that significantly improved internal and external communication, strengthening institutional relations with key partners, governmental stakeholders, and private entities.

For four years, I served as a board member of the Instituto Brasileiro de Desenvolvimento e Sustentabilidade (IABS), which focuses on developing projects, ideas, and programs aimed at social well-being, sustainable development, and reducing inequalities at local, regional, national, and international levels. During this period, I significantly contributed to the formulation of sustainable development strategies and policies, participated in the approval of plans and budgets aligned with the institute's sustainability goals, and worked closely with experts from various fields, facilitating strategic partnerships and overseeing programs that integrated environmental, economic, and social solutions for the benefit of communities and ecosystems in Brazil.
