• NCSU Crafts Center Makerspace Technician supporting design and fabrication of user projects; managing tech support requests; and resolving design, fabrication, and operational issues.Responsibilities:
• Evaluate, maintain, and update technological and operational infrastructure of the studio
• Service and produce client/member work via additive and subtractive fabrication (laser cutting/engraving, water jet cutting, 3D printing, etc.); offering workflow and data management suggestions; promoting the C:LAB on.
• Maintain, deploy, and supervise all computers, equipment, and software in the makerspace
• Responsible for initial prioritization, troubleshooting, resolution, escalation, and timely response to user requests and issues
• Provide support for C:LAB members and students by answering technical questions

• Ceramic Studio Student Worker supporting Senior Technician in maintenance of studio facilities and processing of clay, glazes, and user workpieces.
• Support facility improvement projects (re-organization and storage fabrication)

• Evaluate workpieces for bisque and glaze firing feasibility
• Assist in kiln setup and maintenance

• Student Worker responsible for managing photography equipment rentals and assisting in basic studio photography techniques.
• Manage inventory of digital photography and studio lighting equipment (cameras, batteries and cables, tripods, lighting and lighting stands, diffusers, backdrops)
