I am also responsible for creating run-of-shows, scheduling 200+ workshops and concurrent sessions including vendor sessions and showcase, scheduling 100+ staff volunteers, training our volunteers, coordinating strategic sponsorships, session evaluations, affiliate meetings, and the setup of a resource room. I also provide support to my team in areas of event design, venue contract agreements, securing meeting space, speaker selection and management, event platform selection and implementation, vendor relations, registration, marketing materials, graphics, housing, entertainment, risk management, event assessment, invoice reconciliations, and post-event recaps. In addition to the large annual events, I handle all planning and execution of various small meetings and events. My responsibilities for these meetings include, but are not limited to, hotel contracts, meeting space, A/V production and services, food and beverage, meeting materials, guest rooms, travel, promotional items, and budget management.I can effectively manage budgets, assess risks and opportunities, and see the big picture. I keep focused on the bottom-line, making sure costs are in check by lining out key needs and costs, developing scope of work, and monitoring expenses for each project. I am tech-savvy. I have taken the lead on software implementation, played key role in selection of virtual event platform, and am proficient in MS Office, Zoom, Cvent, Social Tables, Pathable, SurveyMonkey, and iRubric.I am a meeting planner who proactively takes ownership of whatever task I am given ensuring quality outcomes.
