As the Manager of Youth Services for Baltimore County's Department of Economic and Workforce Development, I provide oversight to a team that develops multiple programs to provide workforce development services to the youth of Baltimore County, including Title I eligible youth that are in need of additional assistance in order to have access to employment opportunities that would otherwise not be in reach. My department develops, oversees and implements the county's Summer Youth Employment Program as well as developing and providing oversight for all WIOA Youth funded workforce programs.

Provide intensive and extensive career counseling, career development, and supportive services to youth and young adult job seekers ages 18-24. Develop and help to implement Individualized Employment Plans for individuals seeking training, short-term work experience and long-term/permanent employment opportunities. Create, implement and facilitate soft skills training to youth job seekers. Engage community partners and deliver programming throughout the county to potential clients.

Assisted in managing an AmeriCorps literacy program serving between 15-20 AmeriCorps youth between 18-24 and serving between 120-160 middle school in after-school and summer literacy programming.

Managed Summer Youth Employment Program, oversaw 10-12 employment sites and monitored 60 youth participants at various job sites. Provided soft skill workforce development trainings to participants.
