Graduating with a Bachelor of Public Health majoring in Health Promotion allowed me to begin a career in assisting those with a disability to navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme. The combination of my life experience in caring for someone with a disability, my studies and the opportunity to complete a research fellowship with Global Voices have given me a passion for creating an environment where all people can have access to the same opportunities by addressing social, educational and health inequalities. I have an interest in undertaking further study wherever my career takes me, and will always be committed to learning and understanding as much as I can to be able to make a positive contribution.
