Current Position as of summer 2020 - added web development converting old SDSU website to the new OU architecture. Since January 2016: Coordinating the Library Service DeskManaging service requests from Fac/Staff in Library and outside clients to ensure a quick response and proper escalation to the ideal technicians to help them. I also work with third party contractors and/or vendors to assist with ticket resolution when necessary.Overseeing the inventory Library – keeping track of inventory as well as receiving orders and distributing them. Keeping track of New and Leaving Fac/Staff – paperwork, phone, databases, account logins, google groups… etcWarranty liaison – coordinating repairs and aiding in decisions for new hardware/software.Contracts management: service and software – working with the main department contact and admin to keep them managed, accurate to our needs, and up to date.Purchasing: Hardware/software- researching the specifications and investigating which products are best for library users before purchasing. Researching other products like Help Desk software - getting quotes, talking to vendors, finding best prices, etc… and then setting up PO via Purchase Req in Adobe Sign or paying via PCC.Hardware and software repair – Mac technician – network, hardware, and software support. I also create the Mac images for the lab computers. Also basic troubleshooting for PCs.TNS voice and data request coordination.Assist with ROHANcp web accounts and help troubleshoot WordPress sites for Faculty.In my previous position in the library, until December 2015, I coordinated the Student Computing Center Help Desk. Part of that job was to work at the Help Desk and supervise our 20+ student assistants (46 at one point) and make sure they were properly hired, trained, and scheduled to be at the desk to answer questions as in person and over the phone.
