Accounting and Sales Tax Specialist Primary internal contact for sales tax, assist multiple departments in determining correct sales tax procedures and rates in accordance with the equipment location. This involves constant research to make sure we stay in compliance with all nationwide state/county/city and district tax laws. Remit sales tax collected on lease accounts to the appropriate jurisdiction in a timely and accurate manor Accurately and timely report leased equipment to the appropriate jurisdiction on a yearly basis for property tax renditions.  Process and pay property tax bills for multiple jurisdictions and chargeback accurately to each lessee. Complete lease and finance fundings by setting up bank wire transfers or cutting checks to pay dealers Complete daily tasks such as lease and finance payoffs, syndications, customer ACH payments and credit card payment posting. Fulfill any other special projects in the department as needed

• Principal company liaison for multiple publishers and retailers and the company’s sales team - support, organize and manage their accounts and their multiple magazine / catalog editions and consistently meeting critical postal and newsstand deadlines• Key member of the Planning and Cross Functional teams – continuously seeking all feasible production alternatives in order to minimize customer cost and maximize revenues.• Obtain bids and issue purchase orders for outside vendors regarding overflow and specialty work.• Oversee the entire production process including ensuring the correct paper, proofs, and customer-supplied data is received and direct the entire production process including preparation, printing, binding, finishing and distribution.• Communicate and facilitate highly detailed and complex job-order instructions from customers by planning and communicating the job instructions / production schedule and deadlines.• Work closely with the Finance Departments to capture all billing and costs, especially capturing all contractual charges as well as any last-minute customer requests.• Maintain close working relationships with production leaders, machine operators, assemblers, warehouse and shipping staff.• Rapidly adjust and communicate successfully with all levels including customers, senior executives, production managers and production employees. Coordinate and host customer visits to the plant.
