It's been a while since I moved to Canada and there's still nothing scarier than change. I will always love the tropical climate from the Philippines. The cold weather will always be something I am uncomfortable with. But I know that if I am to succeed, I have to adjust.And that's me. I embrace the challenge.I hold a Computer Science degree from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and I currently hold CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, and CCNA Routing and Switching certifications. I am currently working towards getting my CCNP Enterprise certification.I am an alumnus of the NPower Canada Technology Service Corps program where we have learned the fundamentals of PC hardware and software components, mobile devices, security, and operational procedures among others. Emphasis is being placed on best practices in troubleshooting issues that surface in computer systems. We have also gained real-world experience with system administration functions and configurations through the ServiceNow platform.My diverse employment history includes working as a Network Operations Center Engineer for PCCW Global where our team is in charge of handling faults on network services offered to our clients. We triage incidents, troubleshoot circuits, and make sure the issues are resolved as quickly as possible. We also make sure that our internal network is always up and running with as minimum to no downtime as possible.
